Saint John’s Aquila Tours Receiving International Award
SAINT JOHN – Two women from a New Brunswick tourism company are being recognized internationally next month.
Beth Kelly Hatt, founder of Aquila Center for Cruise Excellence and Danielle Timmons, partner at Aquila Tours, will be receiving the prestigious WEF17 Award of “Iconic Women Creating a Better World for All” at the Annual Women Economic Forum in New Delhi, India on May 8.
The Annual Women Economic Forum gathers women leaders from 100+ countries at its mega marathon conference in New Delhi.
“We are honoured to have been asked to speak”, said Kelly Hatt, in a release. “and excited to be among such distinguished women from around the world.”
The forum aims to bring women leaders and entrepreneurs from around the world together and empower one another by sharing and speaking across 520 sessions and workshops under the overall theme of “Women: Creating, Innovating, Understanding and Driving the Future.” The forum will also facilitate inspiring women and men with WEF 17 awards for Women and Leaders of the Decade in various fields from across India and other parts of the world, as also iconic leaders making a difference to society.
