New Brunswick Oil and Gas Industry Association Rebrands
SAINT JOHN – New Brunswick’s oil and natural gas developers announced Wednesday a new bilingual name for the organization: New Brunswick Petroleum Alliance (NBPA) / Alliance pétrolière du Nouveau-Brunswick (APNB)
Formerly known as the New Brunswick Oil & Natural Gas Association, the organization says it changed its brand identity to better reflect its regional presence, values and mandate. The NBPA serves as the primary advocate for the oil and natural gas industry in New Brunswick.
“We’re very excited about the new name and look of the Alliance; it’s easily recognizable and really speaks to who we are,” said the NBPA’s Steve Moran in a statement. “Our industry values openness, integrity, innovation and respect for the environment, and the new NBPA brand illustrate these values in a very creative, very New Brunswick way.”
NBPA also unveiled its website and social media presence to share information and to engage with people in conversations about oil and natural gas development, its processes and potential opportunities.
“As we enter 2016, NBPA will continue providing fact-based information about the industry and the practices we use to extract oil and natural gas resources in the province,” said Moran.
“With our new website and social channels on Facebook and Twitter, we now have new avenues to continue sharing information with people and talking with them directly about our industry, what we do and how it can benefit New Brunswick.”
