Moosehead Will Offer Brewery Tours to the Public
Company president Andrew Oland said it best when summing up the value of a guided tour of Moosehead Breweries: “There’s nothing like a taste of Moosehead Lager fresh out of the tank.”
The brewery announced yesterday that it’s opening its doors to the public for guided tours to celebrate a birthday it shares with the country itself.
“Our 150th anniversary is a moment to celebrate the past, the present and the future of our brewery,” said Oland in a press release. “We couldn’t think of a better way to do that than by opening up our doors and welcoming in the people of Saint John and visitors to our great city.”

The tours will be conducted by Moosehead’s first-ever Brewery Ambassador, Saint John native Stephen Buckley.
“I feel like I’ve won the lottery,” said Buckley. “Moosehead is the greatest beer in the world – and now I get to help tell its story. I’m a lucky guy.”
On the tour, people will learn about the history of the company and get a first-hand look at the brewing process itself. And of course, they’ll sample some of the beers, including Moosehead Pale, Lager, Radler, and the Hop City varieties brewed on site.
The cost of the tour is $15 per adult, and $5 for people 18 and under. Minors obviously won’t be allowed to sample beers. Instead, they’ll be given a non-alcoholic drink.
