BrainWorks Marketing acquires Razor Creative
MONCTON –BrainWorks Marketing announced Friday that it’s joining forces with fellow Moncton marketing agency Razor Creative and has acquired the company.
The company says the acquisition will enable both companies to broaden their service offerings and advance the calibre of work they do to help their clients.
BrainWorks, co-owned by Brad LeBlanc, Lorrie Bell-Hawkins and David Hawkins was founded in 2012. It has since grown into a full-service agency with an office on Moncton’s Main Street and 12 employees. Razor Creative was founded by Rich Gould and Stephen Brander in 2003.
“As separate agencies, we’ve been able to help our clients grow fast and meet their goals,” said LeBlanc in a release. “Going forward, together, the possibilities are endless. We will be able to better serve clients with an even higher calibre of work, offering new marketing services including digital, social, growth-oriented communications and video.”
The merged companies will be known as BrainWorks Razor – The Growth Agency. Plans are currently in the works for a new, larger office and studio space in downtown Moncton. A further announcement on that is expected in the coming weeks.
“We are thrilled about this evolution of our business,” said Brander. “Our team will continue to evolve with this opportunity to expand our capabilities and service offerings even further.”
“We’ve long been friends with the team at BrainWorks. We’ve had the opportunity to work successfully on various projects together,” said Gould. “We look forward to joining their team and have no doubt that our clients will be even better served with this evolution.”
