Xerox Expanding in Saint John
SAINT JOHN –Xerox is giving people the chance to receive the gift of a new job this Christmas.
The company will be hiring 40 new people at its office in the Port City– just in time for 2016. The positions will be primarily in sales, with some Sales Management & Specialist positions in Managed Print Services and Contract Finance.
“We’re growing with the U.S. market where we will be providing sales and technical resources to U.S. customers for Xerox solutions and products for small and medium-size businesses,” said Cindy Arbeau, Operations manager of the Saint John location.
Arbeau says they’re looking for candidates with some post-secondary education who also have skills in sales and/or technology. They are currently in the process of hiring, and hope to recruit at least 30 people to start on Jan. 4.
“We are actively in the hiring process right now,” Arbeau said. “We’re hosting what we’re calling ‘career fairs’ where by invitation, we’re inviting people into our facility to learn a little bit about our business, how we go to market, the resources and tools available to them.”
With over 700 employees in Saint John already, Arbeau said they are looking to hire people who have a desire to grow within the company.
“We’re looking to bring folks in who are aspiring to have a career with an organization, and to grow with a large corporation like Xerox.
