Red Racer Teaming Up with Picaroons for Canada 150 Mixed Pack
FREDERICTON– Central City Brewers + Distillers is teaming up with breweries across the country to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday and New Brunswick craft brewery Picaroons is joining the party.
On Monday, Central City Brewers + Distillers announced a Canada-wide beer collaboration with Canadian breweries from 12 provinces and territories. The Red Racer Across The Nation Collaboration 12-pack commemorates the country’s milestone birthday. Each of the 12 collaboration beers is inspired by the province it comes from and was brewed at Central City’s brewery in Surrey.
“There is a great sense of comradery amongst us craft brewers in Canada, and what better way to show our pride in our country than to bring together some of Canada’s best breweries in a celebratory mix-pack to commemorate this huge Canadian milestone,” says Gary Lohin, brewmaster at Central City Brewers + Distillers in a release “We all know Canada is renowned for our great beer and it has been such an honour to work with each of the breweries. We can’t wait to showcase some spectacular beers and the brewing talents of all 12 breweries.”
The other Atlantic Canadian breweries on board are Halifax’s Garrison Brewing Company, PEI Brewing Company and Newfoundland and Labrador’s Quidi Vidi Brewing Company.
The Red Racer Across the Nation Collaboration 12-pack (330 ml bottles) will be available in liquor stores in most provinces in early May 2017.
