New Chair of CÉNB Appointed
MONCTON–Marie Chamberland has been named named acting chair of the Conseil économique du Nouveau-Brunswick (CÉNB). She takes over from Robert Moreau.
The CÉNB is the largest Francophone business network in the Atlantic provinces.
Chamberland will hold the role until the group’s next annual general meeting in May. She is an entrepreneur and lecturer at the Collège communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick in Dieppe. Chamberland also owned and operated Second Cup franchises in Moncton and Dieppe.
“I am honoured to be able to contribute to the CÉNB as its President. I believe that the Board members and employees form a dedicated team and a priceless resource to defend the interests of the Francophone business community,” said Chamberland.
“I would like to express my sincere thanks to Robert for his dedication and his accomplishments with the CÉNB, and wish him only success in his new career.”
