NB365: Luc Couturier Of Café Of Chez Wes In Campbellton
This is part of a year-long ‘Love for Local’ series called NB365: portraits of New Brunswick entrepreneurs, businesses and organizations. Huddle is a media partner with Love for Local. Today, we hear from Luc Couturier of Café Chez Wes in Campbellton.
A café like we see in the movies, Café Chez Wes is open daily and serves delicious meals all day. I like the ambiance we have, the connection we create with customers, and the fact that we all come together around a meal.
It’s my way of being part of the community. Like everybody else, this past year was full of challenges for me. As a food establishment, we had to adapt quickly if we wanted to keep being opened. And we did. I’m glad we didn’t give up.
Now that we’re slowly getting out of the woods, I think we’ll see an even stronger community spirit all around. Supporting a local business is more than spending money locally, it’s allowing your community to offer something that is truly unique to the area. No other community has a Café Chez Wes. And that’s what makes it all the more special.
