Moncton’s Breathe Yoga Fest Is Back For A Third Year
MONCTON – For the third year, Breathe Yoga Fest will be hosting various wellness classes and workshops for free at the Riverfront Park. The festival will take place on Saturday, July 27.
Festival organizers have added a kids zone this year to allow more families to take part in events, including yoga classes for children and families.
“We welcome all to practise yoga with us, as we celebrate the summer and take a moment to find peace amidst the daily hustle,” said Gail Collins, president of Breathe Yoga Fest and founder of the Bend City Yoga, in a press release.
The festival is meant only for seasoned yogis, but also for those new to the practice. It aims to introduce yoga and other wellness methods to the general public, “busting the myth that you need to touch your toes in order to do yoga,” organizers said in the release.
Around 40 businesses will also join the festival’s recurring vendor village this year. Saje Wellness, Lolë, Copper Branch, Lululemon, All the Pretties, Studio Sephira and Off the Wall Eyewear Emporium are among them.
While the festival is free for attendees, donations will be accepted, with all proceeds going to Youth Impact Jeunesse.
