Martha Stewart Will Speak At Cannabis Conference In Saint John
SAINT JOHN – Martha Stewart will be a featured speaker at the second annual World Cannabis Congress being held in the Port City June 16-18.
Stewart, the best-selling author and TV personality, will have a “fireside” chat with Civilized publisher Derek Riedle and Bruce Linton, chairman and co-CEO of Canopy Growth, June 18 to close the conference.
“I look forward to sharing my knowledge and experience in the lifestyle space with this tailored audience,” said Stewart in a release. “As I begin to collaborate on products for the CBD market, and as the demand for these types of products grows, I’m very interested in the conversations and connections at this event.”
Earlier this year, Stewart joined Canopy Growth as an adviser to help develop products derived from cannabis for people and animals.
She also co-hosts a cooking and lifestyle show with Snoop Dogg called Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party.
The second World Cannabis Congress convenes major influencers, thought leaders, policy makers and government officials to help shape and advance the cannabis industry worldwide.
Stewart’s participation comes at a time when interest in CBD and cannabis-infused food and beverages have become hot topics, with Canada set to legalize edibles later this year.
