Local Grant Thornton Offices Complete Annual Walk-a-Thon

MONCTON–Yesterday, 75 Grant Thornton employees took to the streets in their annual Making Steps Count walk-a-thon, a community walk developed to support communities and contribute to three Canadian children’s charities.
“The Grant Thornton Foundation’s Making Steps Count initiative gives us a unique opportunity to collectively make a difference in our communities, nurturing future opportunities for children across the country, helping communities and families thrive,” NB managing partner at Grand Thornton Mike Robart said in a release.
Ahead of the event, Grant Thornton employees in New Brunswick raised $2,120 for Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Canada; Breakfast Club of Canada and Boys and Girls Club of Canada. The event raised over $102,000 nationally.
