Leaders Of Tomorrow Essay Contest For Opportunity To See Barack Obama
Huddle is excited to be part of an initiative to give a young leader of tomorrow the opportunity to win a $500 cash prize and a floor seat for “A Conversation With Barack Obama” November 13 at Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, a sold-out event featuring the former U.S. president.
Atlantic Business Magazine’s inaugural Young Leaders of Tomorrow essay contest is being produced in collaboration with Huddle and The Independent, an online news outlet in Newfoundland.
The topic to be discussed with this contest is deliberately open-ended. How do YOU define prosperity and what do YOU think needs to happen for Atlantic Canada to be prosperous within a decade? Our intention is to learn which issues are most important to our younger readers. Is it climate change? The state of democracy? Immigration? Food security? Technology, AI and the future of work? Something else entirely? That’s for YOU to decide.
Essays should be a concise and persuasive defense of your point of view, supported by fact-based research.
