Cushman & Wakefield Atlantic Representing City of Saint John in Search for New City Hall
SAINT JOHN – Cushman & Wakefield Atlantic is helping the City of Saint John find a new HQ.
The real estate agency announced Wednesday an expression of interest for the City of Saint John City Hall and associated office space. The expression of interest will allow proponents to respond in a standard format for comparison purposes for the supply of 36,000 square foot on either a leased or purchased basis.
“We are excited to be working with staff and council on this important project. Vibrant urban cores include modern and visible access to municipal services as part of the fabric of a streetscape,” said Cushman & Wakefield managing director Bill MacAvoy in a release.
The City currently leases premises at 15 Market Square,
“Functionality of workspace evolves over time, and it is important for the City to configure its space in an optimal fashion for its employees, stakeholders and the citizens”, said MacAvoy.
“We are thrilled to have the professionals at Cushman Wakefield acting on our behalf as we work through this Expression of Interest. We are confident that they will deliver value for money, with the final results ending up saving taxpayers money and delivering better service to citizens,” said Mayor Don Darling in a statement.
