This position reports to the IT Infrastructure Manager and is based out of our Saint John, NB office.

This is an opportunity to leverage your education and work experience in a fast-paced environment where you will have substantial responsibility in regard to the planning, implementation, administration, and support and documentation of a variety of infrastructure systems such as WMware ESXi Host Servers & Virtual Machines, Windows Server Administration, Enterprise Storage deployments, Disaster Recovery deployments, and Enterprise Backup solutions.
You must have strong written, communication and listening skills, be prepared to take initiative, be able to prioritize tasks, and able to manage your time to own and modify appropriate system configuration settings; establish best practices and maintenance standards, identify and investigation of hardware and software issues, perform root cause analysis, function as a subject matter expert for architecture, performance tuning, capacity planning and design of new and upcoming technologies. You will have the responsibility for proactively monitoring, reporting and management of the Datacenter environments on a day-to-day basis and applying enhancements and/or fixes a necessary to maintain system performance and meet security standards.
The successful candidate will be a team player with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field complemented by a minimum of three (3) years’ experience with Windows Server platforms, administering VMware environments and storage environments.
