A Look Inside Copper Branch’s First Atlantic Canadian Location In Dieppe
DIEPPE – Montreal-based fast-casual vegan restaurant Copper Branch opened its first Atlantic Canadian location on 200 Champlain St. in Dieppe last week.
“We tried the food in Montreal and couldn’t believe how good it was or that it was vegan,” says franchisee Carolyn Ross in a press release. “That’s when we started looking into opening a franchise in New Brunswick because we knew if we liked it, others would too.”
Dr. Valerie Maher-Laporte and Rene Couture are her co-franchisees.
“What attracted us to Copper Branch was, of course, the food,” Couture said. “But also a unique opportunity to expose people to good tasting, high quality, plant-based eating.”
The menu will be the same as other Copper Branch locations, which includes power bowls, sandwiches, burgers, chilli and soups, desserts, smoothies, and organic teas and coffees, among others. It serves an entirely plant-based and vegan food that isn’t processed. The average price of meals ranges between $13 to $15, including main items like a $9 burger or a $10 bowl, a side and a beverage.

Twin Oaks Management, the Moncton-based company hired to develop the Atlantic Canada franchises, are expected to open locations in Halifax, Fredericton, Saint John, and St. John’s in the coming months.
Copper Branch currently has more than 45 locations across Canada and is setting itself up in the U.S. and Europe.
