The Port estimates around 325,000 passengers will visit on cruise ships this season.
In a best-case scenario, Port spokesperson Emily Richardson says the total number of cruise passengers that visit the city this year could break the 2019 record of 323,709.
Saint John is preparing for what it anticipates will be a record-breaking cruise ship season in 2023.
Captain Allan Gray says the port expects to eventually reach 1 million cruise passangers a year.

Oasis of the Seas is one of the world’s largest cruise ships, and it will spend 12 hours in Saint John on June 8. Officials from Port Saint John said the vessel, owned by Royal Caribbean International, is the largest vessel to visit the Port City since its cruise sector began in 1989.
