Saint John’s TriStar Mercedes-Benz Expands to Dieppe
DIEPPE–Construction of the newest Mercedes-Benz dealership in New Brunswick is in full swing after a breaking ground event on July 13 at 1200 Aviation Avenue in Dieppe.
The new location, a 11,425 square foot facility on a 3.3 acre site, will serve as a satellite for the existing TriStar Mercedes-Benz dealership in Saint John to serve the after-sales, parts and accessories needs of customers in Atlantic Canada. The Dieppe location will feature a 6,000 square foot service area and is set to be completed in the spring of 2017.
The design and layout of the Dieppe dealership will be consistent with other Mercedes-Benz dealerships by implementing the “Autohaus” concept, which includes widespread use of glass, black design elements and accents of silver.
“I’m delighted that Mercedes-Benz has chosen Dieppe for this key development in their retail network,” said Deputy Mayor of Dieppe Ernest Thibodeau in a release. “Ours is a region that has seen incredible growth in recent years, rapidly becoming a bustling hub for retail, industry and culture.”
“Mercedes-Benz is a fantastic addition to Dieppe’s offerings and will join other influential brands in this strategically important location. This new development will benefit not only the region, but the Maritimes as a whole.”
Dealer principal of TriStar Mercedes-Benz Ian Brett says Moncton was chosen because it is currently the strongest automotive market in New Brunswick and that Dieppe was a clear choice because of the strong presence of luxury auto dealers in the area.
“We are thrilled to be expanding our business in New Brunswick with this affiliated store and will work tirelessly to ensure that the significant investment … will result in an experience that truly embodies the Mercedes-Benz promise to deliver the best or nothing,” Brett said.
President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Canada Brian D. Fulton said that TriStar Mercedes-Benz has been a trusted partner of Mercedes-Benz Canada for a long time and that they are pleased to support Brett and his team as they grow business outside of Saint John.
“This new satellite store will provide a convenient point of sales and service, effectively solidifying and developing relationships with new, existing and potential customers in an important and increasing market,” Fulton said.
