Province Participating In Rendez-vous Acadie-Québec
The New Brunswick government is participating in the 6th annual Rendez-vous Acadie-Québec this week.
The conference aims to bring together business people from New Brunswick and Quebec to help build partnerships and economic growth between the two provinces.
“The economic impact of our relations with the Canadian Francophonie is considerable,” said Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour Minister Francine Landry, who is also the minister responsible for the Francophonie. “Bilingualism has been a significant driver of job creation for more than 30 years. There are also positive effects for investment, trade, tourism, and immigration.”
The Conseil économique du Nouveau-Brunswick is co-ordinating the event for the province. The event wraps-up Friday in Saint-Georges, Quebec.
