Point Lepreau Operating Again

FREDERICTON– NB Power’s Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station is back at full power.
The station went offline again on Sept. 24 to make repairs to its safety systems. After the repairs were completed, the station reconnected to the grid and returned to operations on Oct. 1, longer than originally expected.
Point Lepreau generates 660 megawatts of electricity, supplying power to more than 333,000 customers.
