Reporting to the Chief Culture Officer and Head of Marketing, the Strategic Marketing Manager will develop, implement and evaluate innovative and unique integrated marketing strategies and plans to increase ONB brand awareness domestically, as well as New Brunswick’s value propositions abroad. The individual will manage a team of marketing professionals to ensure alignment of marketing strategies, nurture creative solutions and ensure activities are delivered on time, on budget and deliver desired results. By maintaining a high level of expertise and knowledge of marketing best practices and industry trends, The Strategic Marketing Manager will guide clients in setting marketing strategies and plans to align with business goals. Other key responsibilities include: Develop, produce, write, edit and proofread marketing communication materials and collateral. Provide timely and expert marketing strategy subject matter expertise, to colleagues, leadership and other partners. Managing the production of strategic and operational marketing activities, including regularly working with advertising agencies, vendors, designers, printers, photographers and other partners.

As the ideal candidate, you have a post-secondary degree in Business with a concentration in Marketing or Communications, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in national and international marketing in at least two or more of the following: rebranding, product launches, marketing campaigns, multi-media production, event management, writing/editing copy. You have experience building marketing and communication strategies and translating key insights into compelling action; leading projects from concept to completion on time, on budget and producing desired results. As a team player, you build strong relationships across all levels of the organization and motivate team members to achieve results. You approach each challenge with a lens of creativity and collaboration, and bring bold ideas to the table.
