These Moosehead Employees Walked 67,000 Miles, and Got A Beer For Their Efforts
SAINT JOHN – Moosehead Breweries employees walked the equivalent of 67,612 miles in a global health challenge that included 1,500 companies and they finished second in the Manufacturing division.
In teams of seven, 133 Moosehead employees (53,000 participants worldwide) from across Canada clocked 170,018,024 steps in a virtual journey around the world to improve their physical and mental health.
The Virgin Pulse Global Challenge has an online portal that helps members track their physical activity and unlock new locations as they move around the world. The Moosehead employees had an average daily step count of 13,460.
