Listen: Boiling Point Talks to Judith Mackin About Her Path to Success
If there’s anyone who knows how to build a career out of their passion in New Brunswick, it’s Judith Mackin.
The founder and owner of TUCK Studio and TUCK Interiors has built a successful business in interior design in Saint John, a notoriously industrial and blue-collared city.
In 1999, Judith started marketing agency Punch Productions. Ten years later, the success of Punch Productions led to a sister company, Punch Inside, an interior design company specializing in commercial and residential interior design. Then in late 2012, Judith opened Tuck Studio, a decor and design studio featuring modern furnishings and decor. When the store first opened on the bottom at Mackin’s home. It has since moved to uptown Saint John on Prince William Street.
Mackin has become an interior design leader in a province where many assume people wouldn’t care for such things. Like every great entrepreneur, she saw a void, took the risk and filled it **stylishly.**
In this episode of Boiling Point, hosts Greg Hemmings and Dave Veale talk to Mackin about her journey to success. The two big keys to her success? Getting help when she needs it and having amazing customer service. This episode was recorded before she moved Tuck Studio to its much bigger uptown location, which just goes to show that her approach has continued to work.
