Huddle.Today is New Brunswick’s go-to source for business news. It has attracted millions of pageviews since its launch two years ago.
Traffic reaches the web site organically, through the company’s active social media channels and through a daily email that has 4X the publishing industry’s average open rate. Huddle highlights the successes of the province’s business community as well as the challenges it faces.
A key member of the executive team, and reporting to the company’s founders, the Chief Revenue Officer’s primary role will be to accelerate Huddle’s monetization in three primary categories:
- Sponsored Content
- Display Advertising
- Special Events
The CRO will lead overall ad sales and the development of special events leveraging the power of the Huddle brand. They will work with the executive team and the supporting creative team to identify new revenue streams and maximize the returns on existing streams.
The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial and creative, with proven experience in marketing and/or sales in B2B industries. They will have an undergraduate or graduate degree in business, marketing or a related field and at least 5 years of relevant experience in an online publishing, marketing or sales role.
Huddle is based in Saint John, but the role can be done remotely from Moncton, Fredericton or Halifax, with regular video conferences and occasional visits to the home office. Compensation includes a base salary as well as commission on revenues generated in the role.
