FREDERICTON– Nova Scotia cable television and telecommunications company Eastlink is continuing its expansion in New Brunswick.

“We are pleased to bring much-needed competition to more and more Atlantic Canadians with the expansion of our wireless service into Saint John and Fredericton,” says Deborah Shaffner, Eastlink president, in a release.
“Our goal is to deliver the best possible customer experience. We do that by listening to our customers so we can deliver more of what is important to them including extensive network coverage and quality, low prices and innovations like Worry-Free Data plans and Canada’s first residential contract buy-out program.”
The exact opening dates of the new stores and the Fredericton location have yet to be confirmed, but the Saint John location will be in the city’s McAllister Place. Eastlink says it’s in the process of hiring local staff and building out their retail locations where the company says they plan to offer leading-edge devices and competitive service plans.
“We are excited to expand our wireless service to more communities in New Brunswick,” says Lee Bragg, Eastlink’s CEO. “We continue to make significant investments in expanding our wireless serving area to deliver the best possible wireless experience through our extensive network coverage and quality, combined with lower prices and exceptional customer service.”
