Dealermine Goes Uptown
Quispamsis’s Dealermine will be making Uptown Saint John its home base.
The fast-growing technology company, which provides sophisticated customer relationship management (CRM) software to auto dealers, will be moving its head office and 40 employees to CenterBeam Place on King Street this fall.
The company has leased 8,500 sq ft on the second floor spanning the entire block. It has windows overlooking King Street, Canterbury Street, Grannan Lane and the CenterBeam courtyard.
Stephanie Turner of Partners Global in Saint John worked with the company to find new office space.
“They contacted me in late spring to discuss their corporate headquarter office requirements. We met at their current head office in Quispamsis. At the time, they were thinking they wanted to stay in the KV. It’s what they were comfortable with,” Turner said. “Once we started talking about their needs, we all agreed that they should not immediately rule out Uptown and should at least take a look at what was available.”
CenterBeam was the first building Turner suggested to Dealermine founder and CEO Bob Quirion.
“There’s nothing like it in Saint John. The space is beautiful and has the right feel that I was looking for,” he said. “We’re just seconds from the internal pedway system. The restaurants, shops and services we want are at our doorstep . . . not to mention Second Cup Coffee Shop right in the building.”
Turner said she’s “thrilled” to have the space filled with Dealermine’s team.
“This is a huge boost for the Uptown business community,” she said. “They are renting parking spaces in the city’s new parking garage and I have to believe that nearby businesses such as cafés, retail stores and restaurants will see spinoff benefits.”
The CenterBeam building is owned by Commercial Properties.
