CPA New Brunswick – CEO

CPA New Brunswick is responsible for regulating the professional development of its 2,800 active and retired members and the protection of the public through its ethical standards and discipline process. CPA New Brunswick is also responsible for the training and certification of CPA Candidates.

As the President & Chief Executive Officer, you will report to the Board of Directors of CPA New Brunswick and provide active and visible strategic leadership to the organization. Based in Moncton, the President & CEO will oversee and manage the overall direction of CPA NB and ensure the structure, culture, governance, and resources are aligned to meet the key priorities and expected outcomes as approved by the Board. You will foster relationships and work closely with CPA Canada, CPA partners, CPA Atlantic School of Business, the 8 chapters located across the province, as well as government, universities and employers to promote the designation as well as advocate for the membership.

As the ideal candidate, you are a bilingual CPA who brings significant leadership and management experience, strategic acumen, and innovative thinking to this key leadership role. You possess a proven track record of making an impact and delivering results. You are able to foster effective relationships and possess superior communication, collaboration, advocacy and stewardship skills. You are a team builder with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and with the various chapters throughout the province.  You are able to establish your credibility and to gain the trust and respect of peers, partners, and stakeholders through your pragmatic approach and strategic business sense.  You have the capacity to remain objective, demonstrate good judgment and have a reputation for unquestionable integrity, ethical behavior and principles.  You are a hands-on, highly engaged and visible leader who will help develop creative strategies for growing an active membership that will contribute to the organization’s mission and objectives.
