CityMetric

CityMetric is an arm of the New Statesman that looks at life in cities — from architecture to urban planning to a recent article on the fad for “ruin porn” (wondering what that is? Those photo galleries of Detroit’s abandoned buildings that have been shared online so much in the last couple of years are a prime example ).
They say that their unofficial tag line is “Urbanism for the social media age; infrastructure news with a side order of snark.” If you’re a bit of an architecture / urban planning / sociology / urban geography geek, you should check it out.
