Bulletproof Announces New Executive in Halifax
HALIFAX – IT services company Bulletproof has announced the appointment of Bill Parsons to the Bulletproof executive team as vice president of corporate development.
Parsons steps into the position today and will be based out of the company’s Halifax office. He will be charged with leading Bulletproof’s worldwide sales organization.
“We’re excited about this opportunity to welcome Bill to our team,” Bulletproof CEO Steven Burns said in a release. “He has had a tremendous career doing exactly what we envision is needed right now for Bulletproof. The opportunity that the GLI acquisition presents to enter a wider geographic and vertical market is huge and Bill is going to help us capitalize on that.”
Parsons brings 25 years of experience in corporate growth, sales strategy and execution to the role. He has driven growth strategies for both large and small companies like Atlantic Lottery, Bell Aliant/Xwave, JDI/MIT, Intelivote Systems, Compugen-Horizon and Canobo Medical Corp.
“I’m very excited to join the team at Bulletproof, as they are the premier technology brand in Atlantic Canada, particularly around security and networking,” Parsons said.
“That’s something to be very proud of. The recent business combination of Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) professional services division and Bulletproof make an excellent match with my 25 years growing Atlantic IT and Gaming companies. The next few years of growth should be exciting.”
